Old chargers charging new batteries is a very common problem. The average life span of a conventional charger is approximately 15 to 20 years. High Frequency chargers have a even shorter lifespan. Then it is time to upgrade to a new charger. If you have a very old charger, you’re not getting the full potential out of your forklift battery, which in turn effects your forklift runtime.
